Conrad Clifton is a Brooklyn based electronic artist, and Infinity Pool Recordings’ label founder. He blends electronic music and hip-hop together in unique and daring ways, that tell a tale through each tune. With over 2 Million streams on Spotify, Conrad has received editorial playlist placements on Dance Rising, Electronic Circus, Bass Arcade, Friday Cratediggers and more. Winner of the Independent Music Award for BEST DANCE/ELECTRONIC EP, Conrad was called "one of the most exciting electronic artists to watch" by EARMILK.
His forthcoming single “HUNTER GATHER-HER” is a tribal influenced future bass banger, with an otherworldly melodic contrast. The vibe mirrors the duality in human nature, finding a balance between feminine (spiritual) and masculine (primal) energies. Conrad presents the POV of a male ally, focused on giving women the respect they’re due. Picking up where “Silent City (Everything Is Connected)” leaves off, the track starts with a four-on-the-floor house tempo, and builds up pace leading into the first massive drop.
The accompanying music video from director Sam Shannon (Adidas/VICE/Google) and cinematographer Arthur Woo (Prada/GQ/Puma), depicts a battle between the two opposing energies, expressed through dance. Shot on location throughout Brooklyn, performers Angeliq Brock (STAR/Phony Ppl) and Marcus Braggs (Hermitude) deliver a beautiful interpretation of conflicting emotions, with organic movements choreographed by Emma Chadwick (Vogue/Louis Vuitton/Nike).
“This is for all the strong women in my life. Just know you are appreciated, and I SEE you”, says Conrad.
His previous appearances with artists like San Holo, Sweater Beats, Chrome Sparks, Pomo, Jay Prince, StayLoose and GANZ, have Conrad looking to bring his music to a much larger audience. His performance at the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival was the perfect place to start.
